Acne Extraction Facials

Acne extraction facials are performed to unclog the pores and remove blackheads and whiteheads. At The Bellevue Laser & Cosmetic Center, Nicki, our licensed medical aesthetician, specializes in this procedure.

The treatment consists of gently cleansing and exfoliating the skin, opening up the pores with a hot towel, applying a toner and then extracting the clogged pores. This is followed by application of a soothing mask and sunscreen. We recommend that the acne facial be repeated every two weeks for a total of four treatments.

Dr. Chiu will often prescribe the facial in conjunction with a medical acne treatment plan and/or other adjunctive therapies including laser treatment, PDT, or chemical peels. The acne facial works beautifully to help clear up the your skin. The great thing is, it may even be covered by your insurance!
